Fibromyalgia and Being Feisty

Topics: Fibromylagia, My Weekly Routine

Sometimes I getting to feeling rather feisty with my fibromyalgia.  It has grown quite common that, on Sunday nights, I think about going to work Monday morning and I get excited.  I have another week full of chances to succeed and show my fibro that no matter what I can be a success.  That I can get up in the morning.  That I can be productive despite chronic pain.  That I can smile and converse and remember things even though inside I want to take a warm shower, some pain medication, and a good nap.

If I could, some days I’d punch my fibro… just to remind it who’s boss.  So, here’s to being feisty with fibromyalgia.

Keep that feisty spirit! That was my method – rev it up. I also found a walking partner that knew my limitations. She would rev my spirits up and get me walking. A lot of times we would lose track of how far we walkedl…because of too much vroom in my rev.
