I remember my family's friends all had a big party for us and brought us all kinds of presents - things like toilet paper and flour and used furniture. My mom had such a hard time with everyone going out of their way to do all of that for us. And I remember the pastor of our church telling my mom something that's still impacting my life -- sometimes the best present you can give someone else is to let them give to you. You don't have to make up for anything, Kate, and you sure don't need to be forgiven for anything. This is *our* chance to give to you for all you've *already given* to us. It's good to hear you're getting the help you need. Even better to hear that you're taking the time to relax and get it. <3 And I will still take whatever blessings Abba decides to throw my way in answer to your prayers. I have been going to the doctor for 2 years with unbearable pain in my lower back. I was taking so many pain pills they messed up my kidneys. Just recently I went to the Mayo Clinic and discovered i had fibro. It has totally changed my life. I sell real estate and I have nearly had to quit working. I live with chronic pain nearly all the time. I get injections and wear patches for pain all the time. I was wondering how things are for you now and if you are better. Are there any doctors you are going to that have helped you and if so what are they telling you to do? I hope things are going better for you.
